From the depths of the abyss comes a re imagining of an old song.

Work in progress

I just came across my first works I ever wrote on a CD in my study room. Sometimes I think I wrote better things back in those days than I do now. Back when things were so much more innocent…4 years ago?

Here’s one of those songs off that CD. I don’t remember a song title for this song, so lets call it Infinity, because there will always be ideas for songs out there.

I think that when there are a lot of things going on in my head, I tend to get more ideas for songs.

Somethings sound weird so far. Transitions are not where I’d like them to be. The bass line never changes except for the key change.

I think the main chorus sounds kinda cool.

Sound levels are obviously off, it’s just a rough cut.

This song is called wonder. I guess it’s because I wonder about a lot of things.

My friend sent me a collection of songs I had made a long long time ago, the latest dating about 3 years ago. I don’t even have the project files on those songs anymore.

I figured something cool to do, would be to go back and recreate some of my older songs using some of the techniques and what not that I have learned over the years.

So here’s a piece of what I’m working on and I think I will actually finish this song for once. Tell me what you think.

There are a lot of times when I can’t come with anything to write. When this happens, I usually just go back to old songs and rewrite pieces of it.

This song used to be called “Happy Places”. Very generic name, but it’s also the first thing that popped into my head when I wrote this song months ago.

I wish I still had the original cut somewhere so you could hear the changes.

I hope to finish these songs soon.

What up world (in the voice of Sway).

This is my first song posted on here. For now, the song is entitled “Soothe”.

It is a very short intro of the song, unfinished, but I’m currently working on it.

Thank you Jason Michaels. You are good looking.
